Fabian Glaser won the DCCLOSER 2015 Best PhD Project Award

Fabian Glaser was awarded the best PhD Project Award for his paper and presentation entitled "Towards Domain Model Optimized Deployment and Execution of Scientific Applications in Cloud Environments" at the Doctoral Consortium on Cloud Computing and Services Science. The doctoral consortium was collocated with the 5th International Conference on Cloud Computing and Services Science (CLOSER 2015).
Papers accepted at SATToSE 2015

Our papers "Developer Oriented and Quality Assurance Based Simulation of Software Processes" and "Weighted Multi-Factor Multi-Layer Identification of Potential Causes for Events of Interest in Software Repositories" have been accepted for the Seminar Series on Advanced Techniques & Tools for Software Evolution (SATToSE) 2015 in Mons, Belgium. The work described in these papers is associated with the project Assuring Software Quality by Means of Simulation Methods.

Jens Grabowski has been elected as member of the ETSI STF 491, which will be in charge of the TTCN-3 Maintenance until March 2016.

Office relocations and new group member

With the beginning of May, our group will get a new member. Ella Albrecht will join us and work on a platform for online teaching and exercise submissions in the computer science bachelor studies at our institute. Due to this, some of our group members move to other offices. The new office numbers are already given on the website. The relocation will take place in the next days causing a bit trouble on our floor. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Article accepted for the Journal of Medical Internet Research

Our article "Scientific versus experiential evidence: Discourse analysis of the CCSVI debate in a multiple sclerosis forum" has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Medical Internet Research and will appear online shorly. This article is the result of a joint effort between the Department of Medical Statistics and the Institute of General Practice at the University Medical Center Göttingen, and our group within the project "From Patient to Expert Through the Internet".

The outcome of our continued work on the Test Description Language (TDL) within STF 476 of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has been approved by the Technical Committe Methods for Testing and Specification (TC MTS) and submitted for membership approval at ETSI.The documents are already available at ETSI as:
